MONTANARI GLASS WAS FOUNDED IN 1979, THEN EXPANDED AT THE END OF THE 80s, DEVELOPED IN THE 1990s AND STRONGLY RENEWED IN THE 2000s. NOWADAYS THE COMPANY PLAYS A LEADING ROLE IN THE FIELD OF HIGH-QUALITY GLASS PROCESSING AND MANUFACTURE.

In 2007 our company was one of the rst ones in Italy to apply renewable energy sources, by operating our rst integrated photovoltaic system. The systems and plants we have installed during the years currently cover all the building energy requirements and clearly represent our working philosophy: a great combination of good productivity and environmental commitment.

WORK
INSULATING GLASS UNITS
Research and technological development in glass industry have helped reach extremely high levels of insulation, by significantly reducing thermal transmittance in the double glazing units. All our Climalit insulating glazing systems have CE mark and they are perfectly in accordance with UNI EN 1279/123456 standards; therefore they have UNI certification in line with said regulations and they are also guaranteed by a 10 year warranty.
WARMGLASS® HEATED GLASS
WarmGlass heated glass units are electrically powered and stimulated. The long-wave infrared radiation produced is comparable to natural sun heating. The infrared-heating technology is quite peculiar because what is heated it is not the air, but all the things and stuff that are inside the room, which, in turn, evenly distribute the accumulated heat all around, thus always maintaining the same temperature and humidity in every single part of the room.
POINT-FIXED GLASS FAÇADES
The architectural quest to obtain the maximum transparency in the façade pushes builders to adopt solutions where glass is suspended by almost invisible support systems. This type of façades uses a clamp support system of “rotules” which are fixed to a cross, known as “spider”, which is attached to a support structure positioned behind. Every single glass plate is then fixed through two or more distributed points allowing every individual glass to be completely independent within the façade.
RAILINGS AND BALUSTRADES
Modern architecture shows that the new technologies applied in glass processing make it possible to create systems that not only provide the required level of safety, but, with the transparency of materials, also make the fall protection systems almost invisible. The glass used for railings improves their inner features: transparency, reduced thickness, climbing difficulty, noise abatement, as well as fall protection.
PLATFORM ROOF
Glass platform roofs are more and more popular among our clients because they provide maximum transparency and elegance in any kind of architectural ambience, where preserving the original aesthetic impact is the main purpose of builders and architects. The need of aesthetic innovative solutions has lead our technical staff to use state-of-the-art devices that would guarantee safety in case of critical situations, such as snow, wind, pieces of plaster falling, in accordance with present regulations (M.D. on loads and overloads – January 2008).
LOFTS AND STAIRS
Realizing a glass loft means making the place much larger and brighter; the use of clear and transparent materials prevents from experiencing that unpleasant feeling of a confined space beneath the loft, and it also helps create a magical and suggestive atmosphere, as well as a modern and innovative structure; this solution is perfectly suitable for households but also for places furnished and decorated in classical and traditional ways.
SHOWER BOXES AND INTERIOR DOORS
We produce glass shower boxes and interior doors suitable for all designs and needs, with all the necessary features in order to combine elegance, aesthetics and functionality in bathroom and other rooms of the house. We apply high-quality innovative systems which provide stability during the years, and guarantee perfect door opening and a smooth sliding mechanism over time.
SHUTTERS AND BLACKOUT SYSTEMS
ScreenLine® is a screening system for double glazing, that solves the problem of room light and heat, combining design and functionality. The shutter moves within a sealed place, between two glass panels, fully protected from dust, dirt and bad weather conditions. This innovating system preserves the typical insulating function of standard double-glazed units, but without altering the hygroscopicity of the cavity inside. We can provide a wide range of products able to satisfy all customer needs in terms of aesthetic and functionality: different colors, various types of screening and handling devices and a great application versatility.
LIQUID CRYSTALS GLASS
We produce extra clear laminated glass with a film inside containing LCD crystals, which, under the influence of an electric field (100 WAC) align themselves and glass becomes transparent; when the electric field is disabled the glass becomes opaque again. We can therefore guarantee a perfectly protected place, safe from prying eyes, thus ensuring the comfort of full privacy without blocking the passage of light (the glass is semi-translucent).<br /> The main advantages of LCD glass units are their translucency, as well as space optimization and guaranteed privacy.
